Thanks Dennis.

The mount is a GoMiniGo mount. It's very good quality (all stainless) and about $65.00. A slicker but more expensive solution is on MFest (http://www.mfestforum.com/forum/show...334#post137334). There's also a brkt that you can get from AutoZone (it's not stainless and will rust): http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=374893 .

You can go directly to the myplates site or there is a link off the Tx dmv vanity plate page. Myplates offers a number of styles and colors. One of the designs has a big "T" for Texas that is actually part of the license number opening up a bunch of previously taken combination's.

What % is that tint?

I really like MR. I've just about got the balls to order it. The more I see it the more I want it.

I have the standard dark gray 18's w PS2's. At this point the plan is to put them back on this winter and keep them to go with the car when I get something else in the future. I would then sell the RAC's separately. Time will tell how that will all work out. I still have the standard 18's off my E46 M3 in the garage, but I remain an optimist.

Of some minor interest; my wife likes the 18's better than the RAC's (I shouldn't have told her what the RAC's cost) and wants me to put them on her 2001 Accord.

Tint is 30% (although specs say 34% visible light transmission ). It's Wincos high IR rejection film. It's really made the car much more comfortable here in the Texas heat. I've actually turned the AC temperature up from 70 deg to 74.

The MR is a great color (dark like Imola in the shade and really bright in the sun), and it's uncommon compared to white, black, and the various shades of gray.

Yeah, I guessed why you were asking. The wheels are pictured below. They are 8's and 9's. I don't recall the offsets, but I know they won't fit on E9X M3's as the barrels don't clear the front brakes.

The E46 got traded to Autobahn last November. I don't want to sell the wheels and tires from the E90. I'll PM you regarding the others.

Oh, ok, I'll admit to it being mine. I thought you were going to give me a hard time about the dash covers. The car was what it appeared to be. I wouldn't feel too bad about not buying it. While there is a lot of goodness at the buy-in cost of those early E46 M3's these days, they can be expensive to own without a warranty.

REally, I think you are trying to make me feel better, lol.. you know The main reason I didnt buy it was because of those dash covers, lol. pretty dumb I know.
Anyway the day you traded it in tthey called me to go buy it, if I recall, they were going to sell to me right at 21k (I think) I went up there and went back and looked at it in the service bay when they were doing whatever they were doing.
I thought it was nice, I liked the colors and it looked pretty clean. I went back up two more times before they had the car fax or anything on it. and I was not in a super hurry to buy it and I just let whatever happen happen and they listed it and sold it in like a day, lol.
if I recall you must have had csl wheels on it? why didnt you put the stock ones back on?
Cal you really gotta get an instant messager service, lol. maybe Ill text you, Do you know how to text, LMAO!!!

See, I knew there was a jab coming about the covers. I had the OEM forged 19's that I bought with tires as new take off's from a guy that bought the then new CSL wheels for his car. I'm more connected than I want to be now. No IM, but I do have text capability on my pre-paid cell (don't even go there - explained here:http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...37#post7506037 #4367 & 4372 are the posts to look at) which I've used a few times.

I'll PM you regarding the the wheels. We've taken this thread far enough off topic.
