WOW, How does that set up handle? I like wide tires also. I live in the desert so I don't care about rain or snow. Do you think I could put 277/25 20's up front without rubbing? (I plan on getting the KWV3's) I'd match the fronts with 305/25 20's in rear?

On your setup, did you have to roll the fenders? Is there any rubbing? It looks great. These wheels are the benchmark as far as I am concerned.

No modifications to the car whatsoever to get them to fit. I am even lowered on H&R springs. There is absolutely no rubbing at all. It is great. I have had several people ask if it rubs when they look at it, too.

Andy,
Now you need some better pics. These are not great at all. Shows us some clean shots to show us the beauty of the G2's.

It is funny you say that, because I thought they were pretty good?!?!? I am by no means a photographer. This is as good as you will get from me. I guess I could take them from a few different angles, but that would be about it.

Lol. Don't take me wrong, I guess the quality of the image did not come out that great.
BTW, it's the best setup I've seen on your car. Loved the wide tires.

Damn, that is the same size rubber on my 4.8is X5. Fat ass footprint... love it. Does the steering seem "heavier" with such a wide front tire?

i hear people with 265s rub....u got 275's up front...do you track your car? drive hard enough to get some body roll to really see if it rubs?
cause i might just have to sell my wheels and get some of those and get some 275/305 Last edited by TheKosherStogie; 08-23-2009 at 02:12 PM.. |

How's the balance of the car w/ the new tire setup?
Do you rub in the front? Hard to believe if you don't because I'm running 19x9 +22 front with 255/35/19 INVO's and I rub slightly turning left. Perhaps it's the smaller diameter tire...
