Break in DONE No speed limit !!!!!!

Well I finished with my break in period got the service done today and decided to take a day off from work. WOW was it worth it. I guess I dont have a speed limiter on my car cause today I was doing 165mph on the speedo.
Red lining it through the gears is awsome to say the least.

speed limit is like 160, 162 or somthing - add to that some speedo error and you can see 165 indicated.

Sounds amazing! I'm at just over 700 miles -- 500 or so to go until my 1200 mile service (the car keeps warning me every time I start her up). Can't wait until I don't have to pay any attention to the revs. I accidentally went near the 7000RPM mark on the freeway one day. Completely forgot I was in manual mode. I brought it back down quickly.

not sure you are right about this one. i am not the expert on the speedo, but the car should be limited at 155 on the speedo, which would be 152ish actual. Then again, if the limiter is set to engine rpm in a 6th or 7th (DCT) gear, i guess that might be a different story. i'm not sure

anyway, maybe somebody could shed some light on that.

I have the DCT as well, and I went to about 6500 several times during break in. Getting on the autobahn and the DCT kicked down a couple of gears. The dealer did not say anything so I guess it didnt matter to them.

I am going to have to take a look at the RPM's next time. I know I went to about 145 or so in 6th gear. I could be wrong about that cause I was more concentrating on the road ahead than the gauges. Was more of a thrill for me than anything, and I wanted to see if it had the limiter on it.

there is an option that you can get where you take a M class and they take the speed limiter off.
