M Performance Exhaust With AutoCoutureMotoring (ACM) Test Pipes
Hey Everyone,
So after many weeks of trying to decide what to do, I finally had the ACM Test Pipes installed along with my M Performance Exhaust. Since there are only one or two videos out there, I took the opportunity to try out my new GoPro Hero3 Black, and took some videos. I apologize for the camera angle for the driving ones, since again, it was the very first time I ever used a GoPro, and I wasn't really thinking about the camera angle when I hooked it up. Enjoy! |

Good work man....that is a nice combo, no crazy rasp...clean and deep sound. It's all good misplacing the camera; I just played your videos while I was working on some emails. My opinion is it enhanced the sound of the MPE, and not overpowering the engine sound with raspiness like so many exhausts do.

i now officially regret selling my mpe
why previous setups of test pipes complain about rasp? sounds exotic and mean as hell i'd think there's not much difference between acm and other test pipes? |

Good job, thanks! You can definitely hear a touch more rasp with the test pipes which is aok by me...I loved the stock rasp on my old e46. It's hard to tell how much louder it is...one of those things that you've just gotta hear in person. Sadly, with emissions testing here, I'll probably pass on test pipes.

My dealer did the ACM test pipe install for me, and only charged me like $75. So to just swap them back and forth, I'm sure they'd just charge $50 total. |
