Tire Recommendations for TE37s or VRG2s?

Recommendations for these conditions:
  • No track use
  • Bay Area so little rain and no snow, 50-95 degrees
  • Volk wheels, 18" TE37s or Vr.g2 maybe 19 but like 18s better
  • Thinking formula silver on jerez black vert
  • White lettering? just looks cool to me
  • Tires break loose a lot : )
  • 35K miles left on lease so a double set of rears?

Thanks for the help!

Michelin Pilot Super Sports are great tires for daily driving duty. If you would like a little more performance and grip out of your tires, especially being in Bay Area where you don't deal with rain too often, look into the Yokohoma Advan AD08 and Dunlop Star Specs as well.

Awesome track tires, but aren't the greatest street tires as the tread wear is horrible and don't last very long. I wouldn't recommend these if you aren't tracking the car.

+1 But PSS are quieter and better in the rain, so I'd swing the vote to PSS for 100% street driving. AD08's are a great dual purpose tire.

I have had both. AD08's have fantastic grip but get noisy as they wear. PSS are a great all around tire.

PSS for daily.

The white lettering was a JDM fad from the late 1990s/early 2000s. I ran that on my NSX and S2000 back in the day with ADVAN R compounds. A little to rice/cheesy for these cars but IND pulled it off well.

agreed with david, the RS3's are grippy as anything but are noisy and wear relatively weak on the street.

Either PSS or Bridgestone S-04

I got the S-04's because the PSS are not available in 285/30-19.

I wanted to run the GTS staggered setup. F: 255/35-19, R: 285/30-19

Couldn't be happier with the Bridgestones as a street tire. I run Advan A048 for track.
