If you're looking into buying a car $15,000 more than 2011 M3 cost, why don't you consider the all mighty Nissan GTR???!!! I would

What kind of vacuum do you use at home? Dyson GTR?!
If that's you're issue with GTR, 2k will make it sound better than the mase

Depends on your purpose for the car but the Massa GT is way ahead in the class stakes, in London at least.

I forgot you are in Singapore and pay the extra taxes on anything coming in...
Here in the states, the Maserati Granturismo is around 120,000 and the GT3 and Turbo are around the same ballpark.
As already mentioned, M3 is the better handling car, Maser GT much better cruiser/looker.

But porky GT3?? You must be kidding.
If given a choice between the NA/rear wheel drive/track ready GT3 to the FI/all wheel drive Turbo, the GT3 anyday and anytime.

If given the choice of M3 to GT3, who here would take the M3, hmmmm...

Another thread asking members of a namesake forum whether they should buy the target car or something else. It's getting ridiculous.

^ what they said. If you're driving it hard M3 if you're cruising Maserati.

MSRP on the M3 Coupe is $58,000. MSRP on the Maserati is $118,000.

That makes the Maserati more than twice the price of the M3.

If you are going to compare a loaded M3 to a base Maserati and claim they are close in price you can make a similar argument for a loaded 335i compared to a base M3 or for that matter a loaded Accord compared to a base 328i.

If you check of all of the options on a Maserati GTS the car will hit $140,000 which is about $60,000 more than a loaded M3.

The closest you are going to get them price wise is to compare a fully loaded M3 ($80,000) to a base Maserati ($118,000) and there is still close to a $40,000 difference.

We can argue all day long about which is the better car but they are not close to each other in price in the USA and are probably rarely cross shopped.

That ones easy. I would much rather have an M3. It is much more of a drivers car. I could only see myself driving a Veyron to go to the Golf Club. I realize that there is no room for golf clubs in the Veyron but I don't play Golf so that would probably not be an issue.

Also if you are going to compare two cars that are $1,500,000 apart in price you should consider buying 6 or 7 Porsche GT2 RS since the Veyron is a rebadged Volswagen . . . . but then again so is the GT2 RS.

If I could afford it, I would get the Maserati GT over the M3 any day... that Maserati is the best looking car out there imho.

I heard the sound of a Maserati GranTurismo. Holy cow it's amazing! I'd definitely recommend it over an M3 because of its appeal.
