Just arrived...
My first "big mod" to my M3! It's a Gintani sport, dual walled, with black ceramic coating.
More pics and install procedures to come, probably next weekend when I get a chance to work on it!

Installation complete!
I followed the DIY in the forum here to remove the stock exhaust. With the right tools, it wasn't very difficult at all. The exhaust fits just fine. Noticed a little scrape on the bottom from me being silly and not putting it on something softer besides the concrete, but it's not like anyone will see it so it doesn't matter. The whole process took a little over 3 hours for me to complete, and I'm not very handy or good with this stuff Here are some pics during the install process... All finished! Here is a video of the exhaust in action: Enjoy!

Just curious if the drone is out of control? Those tiny little cans can definetly not do much to kill drone and surely explains why it is nice and loud which is great. Drone on this would likely be a deal breaker for me but curious how it is?

Sounds very nice.
When you guys are talking about "drone" is it the "Clap clap" sound on throttle off-lifts? Personally I hate that - like a rice-burning-coffee-can setup. The exhaust in the video above sound deep and controlled without any droning. GJ. |

Personally I think the amount of acceptable drone is very different from person to person. It's very subjective.
I notice little to none with this setup. In all reality, it isn't that loud. I think the louder you go, the more drone you might hear. This is the sport version, so it's nowhere near as loud as the race. Also, with the stock cats and x-pipes, it's not very loud at all. At idle, it sounds pretty much like stock, but gets louder from there. Now if I got some catless x-pipes or HFC's, then the sound would be very different. That is probably my next step.
