Guess it makes no sense to buy from the US - cars over there are about 40%cheaper!

MSRP 85.000EUR including 19% German VAT = 71.429EUR excluding VAT.
I can sell without tax, if car is exported. Importer has to cover local customs duty and VAT.

Wow, thats around $100k. You're better off dealing with people in Europe because no one here would buy the car just for the paint job.

Check the current exchange rate again. It's $170K including the German VAT, and $136K without German taxes if exported, but you would pay import and sales taxes once it hits the U.S.

OP has clearly and correctly suggested the market for this car would be in Europe, only.

Exactly.

And one other thing...

You can't import a Euro-spec M3 to the U.S. anyway...

Car will be delivered to BMW dealer next week. Thanks for all your enquiries so far by PM! Everybody who want´s pictures, let me know your email details by PM!
Remember - only 30 cars were built by BMW in this colour worldwide - 8 for German market only!!! This makes the car pretty unique...
Car is located in the Cologne area!
