Alignement specs incorrect

Hey guys,

I had my car aligned in May and this weekend I noticed that the inside edge of my rear passenger tire is down to the thread. I've never had edge wear like this before even on my e46 m3. The rest of the tire is almost brand new. I am also getting some inside wear on the front passenger tire too.

Would taking out the alignment pin help to get the front passenger side in spec?

Also, do the rear specs look like the culprit for the premature inside edge wear? All of the suspension parts are tight by the way.

The two things that will cause wear like that are too much camber and a toe out condition. How many miles on on the rear tires? I've had to replace my fronts recently do to a very similar looking tire, but I had 30,000+ miles on them and ran a lot more camber than you run in the rear.

Your camber is not excessive but many of us find -1.5 in back to be plenty particularly if this is a street only car. I suspect the toe out condition is probably what accelerated the wear in the rear and it looks like they fixed it with the new alignment.

Too much toe coupled with camber wears tires fast. Zero toe + camber, ok, zero camber + toe, ok, both, no bueno for tire wear especially if you're only ever driving the car in a straight line

That rear tire looks like it has about 5/32" left? IT's not brand new?

Front right camber is still quite a bit more negative compared to left. Only toe was adjusted which looks better now.

When I was oem aligned at dealer I was at approx -1.03 on fronts and -1.35 on rears. This was at oem height.

This is toe wear. Either the alignment was knocked out at one point or the the tech didn't tighten the toe adjustment bolt enough to prevent it from walking out of spec.
