with the economy going in the tank i think msrp will only last a few months. unless there are a lot of 911 buyers downsizing.....

ok, so get this. i just called one of the dealers in south, south texas that wanted 5 grand over, and i asked him if there was any way that could be changed, say perhaps if i payed cash. he immediately said no and went on to say that because they are only getting 5 allocations for '08 the car is a rare commodity and therefore they can justify their markup. i'd like to know what you guys think about that,. does he have a point? BUTwhat really surprised me was that he had the guts to tell me that if i bought the M3 from another dealership and took it to get serviced at theirs, they would not treat me the same as they treat their customers. no loaner for example. looks i should really stop dealing with these jackasses dont ya think
