Shops, Meets, Hook-Ups...
What's going on fellas, I'm moving to the L.A. area next month and was looking for a great refferal for a shop, meets, and hook-ups. Just started modding my e92 and knowing that everything I have EVER ordered for my cars has come from Cali, I figured I'd look for some people to point me in the right direction.
I'm really looking for some shops that are fair and won't bend me over when I buy more mods for install. Also, meets would be great. Best way to get new ideas/hook-up on where deals on parts are, and meet some new people (since I won't know anyone). Thanks! |

if you want a place that is very focused on the E9x chassis M3, definitely give the boys @ EAS a call. From simple tune ups to Forced Induction track/ show builds, they can do it all. I would know since I enlisted their services for all the reasons mentioned above

Yeah it all depends where in LA you're moving to. No one in North LA would even consider driving to South LA to buy mods / get stuff put on.
If you're moving to North LA such as Hollywood / Valley then consider Minicorsa. They do all of my installs as well as track tune ups. Owner of the shop has owned/owns atleast 5+ BMW M cars that he tracks and uses. So they know each car extremely well. You can say Philip with the 135i sent you. http://www.minicorsa.com/aboutus.html |

If you're in OC, you have quite a bunch of shops there. If you're in the Valley...not as much, but there are some. Or are you in "Asia" town (Alhambra, Monterey Park etc) etc etc lol So quite a big area to cover hah.

As asked, where in SoCal? By the way, I too support EAS and the team. I've heard good things about some of the other shops too, I just don't have any personal experiences with them to share. Chief |

Thanks guys, great info and I'll be in the San Pedro area. I would totally go the DIY route and I am mechanically inclined, but I'm so impatient I don't want to f*ck up my ride! haha I'll def look into the shops you guys mentioned and make it out to the local meets. Appreciate the help.
