Just returned my M3 to BMW Seattle

Already created a thread in the "General M3 Forum" but figured I'd link one here as well since I've met a few of you all at meets and drives.

Long story short, my 3 year lease was up last week and my old M3 will likely be put up for sale at BMW Seattle in the coming weeks. I've already placed an order on a 2015 M5 and I'll be taking delivery in Munich on December 1.

If anyone here ends up with her, you're getting a great ///M. I had ZERO issues over the 3 years. It's Lemans Blue/ Fox Red/ Carbon Leather Trim (only missing Enhanced Sound and Extended Leather)

An M5!!! Awesome Bruza! Congrats!

One my favorite trips was when you, me and Transfer drove to Leavenworth for the day and had a beer and brat over there. I remember you getting pulled over for no front plate...fun day.

Nice pics there. We timed the colors just "right" before the 4th.

How's that SQ5 treating you?

Not yet. At least I dont think so. I just returned it Saturday. It had just under 32k miles on it. My residual was ~$43k. I havent checked the market on E90s lately.

I have my guesses on what they might list it for though.

Haha yessir. Thanks. That was a good drive indeed. Definitely changed my car's "presentation" going fwd. The Zoll Tag will be coming off the M5 right away this time.

Cool seeing these replies from people I've met over the years.

There is a LOT I miss about my M3 but I honestly don't miss the RWD, especially this time of year. The SQ5 has been pretty great. It's not nearly as exciting, but it's fast and handles quite well given it's size. I just drove it up a nasty logging road for a hike yesterday and it was a ton of fun. No way that works with a sport sedan! Ideally I need a second toy car, but we don't have room for 3 cars. I'm pretty damn happy with the performance and utility though.

That was definitely fun stuff. I tried to find those pics but I guess I lost them. We had some good times which is why I check in here periodically.

Good to hear you are still around Transfer! How's the Q5? I just picked up a e70 X5 turbo diesel (35d). Love it...will be a great winter driver (got 27mpg on my commute to work this am). Kept the M3... Can't part with it yet and besides its paid for! 😉
