About to buy an M3 Sedan
Hello
I am about to buy an 2008 M3 sedan with 16k miles, and I have a few questions. What kind of things should I look for ? I am in IL and the car is in Virginia. Are there any companies that will go check the car out for me and give me professional feedback? I want to tint the windows, but I heard some types of tint will interfere with the comfort access? Is this true? I heard the metallic tint is the best? Last, the mods!! Does anyone here have akropovich exhaust? If so, how do you like it. Thanks. |

You can have the seller take it to a dealer for a pre-purchase inspection. Besides inspecting it, the dealer can pull the service records (which should all have taken place at a dealership, since the car is under warranty) and tell you a bit about the driving history of the car. You should pay for the inspection.

Be sure to have the tint installer use the felt aftermarket kit designed for the Sedan or you end up with major scratches on the tint. There are seals for each window...the lower seal does not have felt. Good luck....
