exhaust tips removal
I have searched, but nothing comes up for our cars.
Can anyone tell me how to remove stock exhaust tips without removing the whole rear section? I decided to powercoat them in black and install rear diffuser, to hide that ugly muffler. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. |

Looks great in black. Now all you need is rear diffuser
Now i am beginning to think, to avoid all that hassle of removing everything and then putting it back, i might just paint my tips with heat resistent black paint. With tips in place. Is it doable? Has anyone done that? |

ACM is great. And i mean every single member of their crew is great. They definitely do a top notch work. Highly recommended.
They installed ESS SC and Ohlins coilovers not too long ago on my m3. Dropped a few $$$ for these mods and my wallet is much lighter , thats why i am looking for cheap mods now |

Hey David I see you are serious about changing your exhaust tips! Thought I would help out and show you how ACM did my exhaust tips. Apparently they welded them on which seems to be the stronger option if you have the means to do so. I am very happy with the OEM exhaust Mod they set me up with Should I be worried about the rust?
BTW thanks again for a ride in your supercharged M3. I plan on pulling the trigger on an ESS 625 next summer |
