I really wanted a M3 until I found out that BMW Vision will be as fast as the M3 and better MPG than Prius!

fisker karma is already doing 0-60 in 5.8, $80000. Tesla does 0-60 in 3.9, $110000. Vision needs be at least as good as the M3 if BMW wants to be competitive. Also, i'm sure other manufactures are working on similar vehicles too.

The big let down will be the 120k+ price tag. I'll take a guess that people paying 120k for a supercar don't have 60mpg+ as a high priority. I think an R8 might trump it in the "supercar" market. But it is a neat concept.
