I know there are a few around my neighborhood, but I rarely see them. Saw three on my way to the office today! Black coupe, SS coupe, and white sedan. It's like they are teasing me. |

Bamboo interior, cool choice. I'd rethink the black painted reflectors.

One comment on your comment... the most documented feature of BMW Apps was the elimination of the OEM "Y" cable requirement to play the iPod/iPhone. The iPhone cradle is only required if you want to have the iPod Out feature. And about iPhone texts in the iDrive... BMW Office only supports certain Blackberry phones so far. This is not an iPhone issue, this seems to be a temporary exclusivity deal between Blackberry and BMW. The same kind of deal Apple has with BMW with the iPod Out with the OEM cradle. And by the way... BMW Apps provides Pandora and WebRadio full access in addition to Facebook and Twitter. Compared to Sirius Sat radio music compression quality (about 32kbs) either streaming source have at least 4 times (128-192kps) the quality of Sirius. So the $250 of BMW Apps could eliminate the need of the $350 Sirius option if only music is desired, and no monthly fees. All this may be news to you now but it was widely published and explained since 09/10, and for those on the fence on getting this option in the future it would be beneficial in knowing better what they can expect from it. |

Virtually nothing. Only had to put on new front tires for the turnover. Should be a good CPO car at Crevier if anyone is look for a 6MT 550.

Was going to get color matched reflectors, but didn't like them when I see them in person. Anything beats the amber.

Can you stream Pandora and web radio via Bluetooth without apps? They need something like OpenTable on apps- that would be useful. Unfortunately, my car came with Sirius and apps. I can't even get the Sirius to work, and don't miss it. Also, could you comment on the quality of HD radio (locally) vs. streaming on Pandora or WebRadio? OP, congrats on the car. It must be a considerable improvement over an E60.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
