I would only go with OEM.

Call James Bodeux w/ Sunshine Glass @ 713-922-3404.

This is his company, but for years he was w/ Binswanger and did all the glass work for Momentum BMW. He has done a couple of windshields for me, and he really knows what he is doing, and comes to your home or office. He can provide OEM glass & does it much less expensively than taking it to the dealer (where he is probably the one who would do it anyway :-).

safelite in Houston quoted me about $350 installed for OEM glass

I went to Affordable Auto Glass and had an aftermarket one done for under $200- a year later it's holding up just fine and seems to be more durable than the brittle OEM glass

I know USAA covers windshield replacement. No deductible either...might want to check with your insurance.

I just had mine replaced through Safelite via USAA and I haven't any problems with it since. Technicians were very nice and showed me the new glass before even installing it in the car.
