About 3 hours, much easier if you have access to a lift or jackstands at the very least.

I bought the non-lighted ZHP shift knob for my 09 335 and I absolutely love it. Amazing difference. Now I want to do one for my new e90 M3. I'm delighted to hear that a lighted ZHP knob exists!!
So, can you get a pre-fited boot for the lighted knob? Or must one cut the stock boot on the car?
