Yo Mike, I got your PM. Lets shoot for this coming week sometime. I am swamped with work and production and Waterjet work.
For everyone else, the original post has been updated with the new settings. Enjoy. 808guy, thanks for your post, you are absolutely right. This is a guide to set you to the RIGHT direction. Anyone is free to make slight deviations to suit their sound enjoyment needs.

I have been using these settings for a while now and am very happy with the way my premium system sounds now apart from having very little low down bass.
I am in the process of adding some SWS-8 subs and a XD400/4 bridged amp. Can you suggest some setting for my new setup, or should I keep them the same and jsy set my low pass filter to 200? Thanks. |

I listen rock, pop, Jazz/classic, with a little bit of hip-hop, not much of rave or techno thing. I want clean/clear mid-high and warm bass, not too much.

No, I can't. I can only have 1 EQ setting at a time with this stupid 2000 dollar upgrade system.

All of you waiting for E90 settings, why don't you just use the E92 settings and then tweak it a little to how you like it. The interiors of the 2 cars are not so different that it would involve major changes. Remember this is just a guide. There is no absolute right answer to how to set the EQ that will work for everyone. The only right answer is the one that sounds right to you.
Give the OP a break and make an attempt to create your own settings.

Anyone got any good settings for e92 premium sounds and 4 ohm SWS8s fitted?
I have fitted the subs but still waiting for delivery of the JLXD400/4. As it stands, the subs sound completely wrong. I haven't cranked it right up yet because the oem amp might overheat. I just hope the amp makes the difference. |

I don't know anything about sound but I tried these today in my E90 and it sounds much better than the default settings that I had before. The "surround" setting makes everything sound a little off to me so I have that off.
