Garry,
That is the first group of photos that has shown SSII with the stock 18" to make the choice look really well and a perfect match. Great choice. |

You beat me to it! I finally took delivery last Thursday of my SSII with 18's, but while I was waiting kept wondering why there weren't any pics of this fantastic combo. I love how the 18's look on my car, and your photos do it justice. In any case, your backdrop is incredibly more arresting than typical so-cal cooky-cutter neighborhood. And those roads, man. Yup, if you think you're reading envy, you would be correct.

Thanks for all the nice comments, the spec did concern me a bit but after seeing it in the flesh I've no worries
Also went with Fox Red inside and it's excellent, really livens up the interior |

P.S. Please post some photos of the interior while still showing the exterior of the car, just to see the combo in our normal weather conditions (dull followed by more dull) instead of US sunshine as is normally the case. |

Awesome. Enjoy your M.
Scottsdale BMW had 5 sedans in stock over the weekend. One was an SSII with 18's so I had a chance to see in person and it is nice. |

I'll try getting some pics later on but right now the sunshine is out , it must be some kind of record for Scotland, the car still hasn't been rained on and I've had it almost 48 hours |

In the showroom I saw JB with FR and under the spotlights I did think this combo look a miss match to be honest, it looked Midnight Blue in that light and the FR clashed IMO. I haven't seen PS interior as yet but I reckon it would work well with SSII and the swatch I saw in the dealers looked a rich bluey grey, far nicer than stock light grey on other BMWs. As for the weather, yeah we too are having stone splitting sunshine too........maybe global warming isn't such a bad thing after all. |
