Fun track but very little grip and the walls scare me. I slipped my hands towards the end and really skipped a beat. Lol

That could have ended badly... Hence why I don't like tracks with walls all up in your face.

On corners like that, might want to go a little deeper (& rotate the car) before getting on the gas. Hugging the corner so tightly, as it appears in the video, makes the trajectory of the car coming out of apex more towards the wall instead of down the track.

I slide at that corner all the time. It's a slow hairpin so kind of hard to hit the wall there once you get used to it.

Good smooth driving - take your time and enjoy!! be safe out there. No one wins anything dive bombing people and having red mist and bragging about how fast you go just cuz you have hoho/slicks/new R comp tires and blah blah blah
Worst is blaming your car for oh shit moment. It is always the drivers unless you have mechanical failure.

I agree with OC3 - dont hug the corner and gas. Late apex is safer. But you did well!!!

We all make mistakes. Some people have gotten REAL close to the wall before. I mean so close multiple times. I have seen it multiple times at buttonwillow at sunset corner. They all want to cut into apex and gas early and go flying off the track and they try to correct and do a 180 degree turn and get real close to the wall.. ive seen wreck cars like this. Or come in too hot then throwing the car into the turn believing the suspension or the car mod you did will save you or Nannies will safe you.

Sharing videos help and admiting the fault instead of blaming the car. We all learn from each other's mistake what not to do and find safer way to enjoy our cars.

Sonoma is one track I have not been to. I like to go there and get some instructions and learn =)

haha the whole time there I kept saying that. I came from motorcycle and the old saying is you go where you look. so I know if I look at a wall I would end up there.

yep those times when i am intentionally sliding around i literally do not see a wall since I'm looking down the track where im supposed to be.

soon as you look at a wall. uh oh.
