What a save!

I know we've talked about "the saves" before. Getting tapped into a full spin and still keeping it together for a save was something well executed by this kid. Instead of losing his mind and jumping out of his car to raise like some genius, he save the hell out of the car and finished 3rd. My props to him...

that would have been dope if he didnt hit the grass after the first spin!!

what did he hit for his car to lose traction. that was a pretty hard bump!

Jesus that's crazy. The second spin is just funny after he saves it then goes for another. Some fast hands.

Nasa nationals can get a little crazy like that. You'd think there was millions of dollars at stake.

Didn't know it was u pkim. I was going to do Chuckwalla this weekend until I was teching my car last night and noticed I only got about 25% pad left. Not sure it would last the full 500 mile drive and 5 sessions. I'm thinking of doing Big Willow on Oct 18th. I can't wait to do ACS again, and love the garages

Exactly. I think he would not have spun for the second time if he didnt use the trottle so aggresively

cool - I'm going to do Buttonwillow on the 18th. But I have yet to do Big Willow yet. Man, that is some dedication. I won't even drive to CVR from LA!

(I have to behave now)....

They do that a lot in the BTCC...burying the throttle in a FWD racecar in a slide gives some spectacular saves.

jason plato! "wife put me on a sex ban if I didn't win"

this is why I watch Fifth Gear over Top Gear anyday. The hosts are spectacular drivers, not some journalists trying to drive (although pretty funny).

Indeed FWD is totally different. I made a lot of such kind of moves when playing with hand brake in snowy conditions. Not saying I am executing things like Plato as my speed was much slower

I also prefer Fifth Gear, Plato and Tiff are just great and giving valuable comments about cars.
Not like Top Gear jokers, but I must admit they were fun to watch. Not so much lately with all the stupid specials.
