DSC and launch control

My car seems to go a lot more sideways then normal in M mode not that's that's bad but my launch control doesn't work too and that I don't like

I don't have any lights on the dash and I've cleaned the back wheel speed sensors but that hasn't done a thing. Maybe I need to replace them? I really have no idea what it could be other then that but still I have no light on the dash

Are you certain you're doing the LC steps properly? It's very fickle and easy to get it wrong. As fhaze asked, did it ever work?

It works but it's like it just drops the clutch it use to bring it out more slow and ease the power on so it didn't spin now I just sit there frying tires lol

What kind of tires and what size are they?
What RPM are you launching it?

Do the GTS DCT Software and have them drop your LC RPM down to 3500 RPM's.

With Potenza S-04 275/35/19's, my launches are nuts.

You can lower the Launch RPM by using the Cruise Control Lever.

Also maybe your tires are shot? or you got a supercharger?

The M3's LC is worthless for you leigh...you have too much power. On an ESS 650 car, a 2,000 rpm launch would be nice. Right now I launch off idle and I don't spin with the Michelin PSS. But launching at like 2K rpm would provide a little spin and a little quicker start.

I thought maybe it's just the tires when I was using the PSS it was working but I would have had heaps of heat in them

And there you go. Tires are key.

R888's and then try launch control. I just put a set on my 911. Going to the drag strip tomorrow bet I cut 0-60mph in 2.4-2.5 seconds (60-foot time of 1.5 sec or less). They are as good as heated slicks.

With R888's you'd need to upsize to 295 30 19.

I'm a huge fan of the ZCP wheels so only 19's for me.
