Would you clear bra your lease car?

hey all,

I've been thinking about doing a clear bra on the front bumper, hood and side fenders on my Mineral White E93, and the price quote that I got is $1,500.

Should I do it, or just spend that money for something else since it is a lease car?

what do you think?

Only if you are planning on keeping it after the lease is over. You wont have to pay the damage fees when the car is turned in... but it wouldnt be $1500 anyway.

If you lease a car north of the border you buy this 'package', I guess you'd call it that, or maybe it's free I can't remember because I've never leased but either way it basically gives you an incentive of $7500 of coverage against any damage to the car, whether it be treadless tires or a windshield replacement or even the bumper and hood needing to get replaced. Ask if you were given that at the time of the deal.

As other have said don't bother getting the clear bra done considering it's a lease, unless you plan on keeping it or maybe do it if you're a nice guy.. Really nice..

90% chance I'm buying my leased E92 at lease end, so I did clear-bra...But the hood and mirrors only for about $200

if you plan on keeping the car why would ever lease?

if you wanted lower payments, why not just do BMW Select?

Anyways, op, I wouldn't do it

You can repaint the bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors for prly around that price.

So yeah.

use the $1500 for some mods or invest it or something

My M3 is a lease, i did front bumper, headlights and sideskirts......If you have the money do it......it saves headache in the long run (esp. if you are going to return it!)
