I test drove this the other night, unfortunatly it was raining... but..... you can definately tell that this thing will go like hell.... I was running out of rpms so quick... the throttle response was phenominal..
I will test this in the dry asap. Oh and the the Evolve full exhaust sounds amazing!! Also the kit itself is very appealing to the eye. This will definately be the kit to challenge all.

sorry for off topic but got a general question regarding these superchargers. what actually happen to/with the intake on the hood after the sc is installed? Is this one going to be plugged or water is just going to pour into the engine compartment when it rains?

Nice pricing for a top engineered supercharger kit that makes no compromise!
I hope some M3Post members take advantage of it so we can see some reviews. In the mean time, I'll have to live vicariously through videos and photos....

Which kit is this referencing? The 625 or the 530? In looking @ the site, it says, "Calibrations for 91(US)/95(EUR) + Octane Fuel". In Texas, we have 93 octane (AKI) which equivocates to about 97 RON. What would be required to get the tune to account for the higher RON rating? |

In terms of the higher octane, the kit comes with the cable (which is a very nice touch as many of them sell the cable separately), so Sal would be able to modify the file to suit whatever octane you plan on running (if necessary - depends on ignition settings).

Congrats Sal / Evolve, it's no easy task to add FI the S65, looking forward to seeing how the kit performs.

The price remains the same on the kit no matter which HP level or boost level you want.
The hardware is the same. Just a different supercharger pulley, belt and software are supplied. All of the R&D was done at the same time so we cannot justify charging more money for parts that cost exactly the same that are different in size. Boost levels will be 5-5.5, 6.5-7 and 7.5-8 psi Boost and HP will naturally fluctuate with ambient temperature. For different octane fuels the only thing that usually and logically needs changing in the software is the target ignition. We will post more information on this and the software. |
