Cover for Brake Fluid Reservoir

Does anyone know how to disconnect this wire? I've been messing with it, but cannot comprehend how to disconnect it....seems like it should be a easy thing to do, but I'm stumped.

Why do you want to disconnect that in the first place? If you're doing a break fluid change just unscrew the reservoir cover. This is totally unnecessary additional step you're taking.

Why not just take the filters out?
