ADVICE NEEDED: F10/F30 BMW Performance Shift Knob
Ok, per this thread http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=773929, I plan to install the F10/F30 BMW carbon fiber performance knob and boot on my E92 M3. The alcantara and stitch pattern seem to match the E9x BMW Performance Steering wheel which I one day look to get. I am aware that I'll need to cannibalize my E92 Shift Boot RING. However, I found a F30 knob and boot that appears to be the same. My questions:
1) Will the F30 KNOB fit on my E92? 2) Has anyone tried either in an E92? 3) Any weight/height differences when comparing to the E9x BMW Performance Aluminum Knob? 3) Curious as to the price difference on the two. Seems like I should just save a few bucks and go for the F30 shift knob/boot?
