M3, M5, or M6

Which M do you prefer owning? I have an E92 M3 and I'm loving it. I feel like the m3 is more of a better drive than both the m6 and m5, but in my opinion the M6 looks the best, than the M3, and lastly the M5. What's your opinion?

The M3 is the only car I'd consider out of the 3. I am looking for a sports car. Although the M3 isn't ideal, it is the most "sporty" out of all of them.

The M6 really serves no purpose at all besides showing off to the world how much money you have. It is a huge land yacht and I don't think it looks good at all. The M5 is cool but way too big to be fun to drive.

true, however, if I had the M5, i would still take it to the track with my M3 friends.

what I would do is pull up at noon, pop the day tent, plug in the desk fan. Hang out with my buddies, watch them get dirty making adjustments on their suspension and air pressure, eat their food, drink their sodas, and tell them how my M5 would kill them in a drag race. Then I would promptly leave at 4:30, not help them put all their tools back in their cars and roll up the windows, blast the A/C and head straight to the bar to save some seats for them. Sounds pretty fun to me!

Drove the M6 a little while ago. Sexy car - the m3 is a nerd in comparison. Tremendous torque in comparison to the M3 - it just instantly pulls HARD. Feels huge though - there is no doubt that it's a GT car. Personally, I don't think M should be making GT cars, but what can you do. I'd get a 991 Carrera S over it without question.

I have an m6 and I would choose the m3. Although the m6 has got it's merits.

Interesting you'd say that. The cars are so different. I preferred the driving feel of the m3, but there's no question that it feels like you're driving a civic compared to the m6.

The M3 without a doubt. I don't think I'll even own the F80 M3. Driving my e92 till the wheels fall off, then moving up to a P-Car.

I like the M6 the best, than M3.

The new m6 is really pricey though. not sure i would pass on a GTR for one.

I'd get the M6 GC if I had boatloads of money and needed a DD. The M6 Coupe/GC are the only other BMW's I'd buy. I love the way they look.

I'd still go with M3. Maybe I'll go with M5 after I have kids. M6 is just not my cup of tea. Personally, I'd go with Porsche, Aston Martin, or Maserati if I'm shopping for a car in that range.

I drove all three of them for several hours each at the M school. M3 is still my absolute favorite as a "driver's car." I liked the M5 a lot and would buy one given its versatility and serious balls. I disliked or perhaps even hated the M6 because it's heavy and offers no more interior space or comfort over my M3. It does look damn good, though, and obviously the engine is a beast.

Maserati Ghibli, if you can look past the Chrysler parts bin. Or an Aston Rapide...

The CLS Shooting Brake thing looks intriguing, but not for US. SIGH.

^All of those would be stuff>M6GC. The M6 Coupe is a damned boat, but the M5...ehh.

M3.. all day. I'd say its one of the best drivers cars to buy. Personally I feel the M5 and M6 are too big to perform the same maneuvers you would in a e92 M3. Although they are gorgeous cars.
