I love confirmation!!!!!!!!!! It's also good to hear that the moonroof will be optional...........because I don't like moonroofs.
....and yayyyyyyyyyy for speed cloth/leather! Love the extended leather option too. |

No info on the transmission, which likely means that the 6 speed is the only choice at launch. Too bad for me because I will definitely wait for DSG or SMG.
Edit: "Order entry function and vehicle spec sheets will be available on DCSnet this week." No price yet. I can't see speccing a car without knowing how much each everything will cost. |

Thats great news. Should be here by spring.
Now, its clear that iDrive and Mdrive aren't standard like the M5. Looks like its going to be way off expectations when considering its price.

My dealer just mentioned this a couple of days ago. This is good news. Now, let's get the pricing!
So, I'm assuming that the Tech. Pack and/or Nav. is a must have. |

This is good news for the purists - you can order a new M3 minus all of the techno-BS if you so desire. No double cowl dash.
Now all I need is a decent shade of bright red at additional cost. Actually, Melbourne looks ok in some lighting. I'll have to see it up close. |

Finally something meaty for the US market. The Tech package has just about everything included in it.

I will likely spec it just like the wife's car: only CA, Bluetooth, and Metalic paint. No ZSP on the M of course, I but will add 19's unless I decide to go aftermarket. And add 6FL too, which was not available at the time we ordered her car. |

I think I will only order NAV, rear/side sunshades, and possibly 19" upgrades. My E92/E90 ///M will definitely be devoid of a sunroof just as both of my E46 ///M's were. |

Ya mate, I'll take it right to the bank sittin on speed cloth. You can take your weight bearing, overpriced, fluff package with it's hocus pocus I drive to the stealership for debugging. Keep on hitting that option box with your wallet so BMW has the capital to keep building technologically impaired whales.

I guess I'll have the double cowl then. I don't really care about Nav., but I do want the upgraded stereo and would think M-Drive would be desirable? (Does M-Drive enable a suspension selection?)
