Yeah... Those living up to the Stereo Type?

Ah Well, I ran into the same kind of personalities on the RX-8 boards. Everyone it seems wants to feel special or better than someone else for whatever reason.

Religion, Economic Status, regional, etc... Such is the lame nature of man. My rock is better than your rock. My cave is bigger, my cavewoman prettier. Whatever it is...

Here and elsewhere on web forums, it's frequently all about! Measurements.

I beat ALL of them without a problem! :rocks: The Charger SRT-8 was the most challenging...he got a better launch than me, but we were dead even until I hit 3rd gear, when I pulled on him and ended ~ 1.5CLs ahead when we shut it down.

I've documented all these runs in older threads, but no videos.

A stock 335i could have some difficulty with the SRT-8s (could be a driver's race), but a PROcede 335i does not. Yes, they have 425BHP and 420 lb.-ft. TQ, but they're very heavy (>4,000lbs.)...kind of like flying bricks.
hmmm I had no clue does make sense if you look at it from a weight ratio point of view...

When I was at the track two weeks ago there were 2 modded SRT4s that were running low 13s. So they can be pretty fast.

Yes, it makes perfect sense...a PROcede (v1.47) 335i has almost as much BHP, but more TQ and weighs almost 500lbs. less than an SRT-8! Soon with PROcede v2.0, the PROcede 335i should be @ ~ 420BHP and ~ 450 lb.-ft. TQ; a run with an SRT-8 may not even be much of a race.

A stock 335i does 0-60mph in ~ 4.8-5.0 sec. and 1/4 mi. in ~ 13.4-13.6 sec. @ 105mph (at a great track). A stock Charger SRT-8 or 300C SRT-8 runs similar numbers; a PROcede 335i is faster. :rocks: At the 1/4 mi. track in June, I ran 13.097 sec. @ 106.67mph with my PROcede (v1.40 at the time) 335i, while my buddy in his stock 335i ran 13.6-13.8 sec. @ 102.xxmph and a stock GTO 6.0L ran 14.xx sec. that night.

When I go back to the track in a couple months with v2.0 and my new 20lb. Morr VS7 monoforged wheels, I'm hoping to run in the mid-high 12's!!!!! :rocks:
