I cant believe I just now found this thread, epic build, thanks for sharing!

Interesting on the diff cooler. I was at COTA recently and noticed an interesting smell a few times during the weekend, curious if it might have been diff fluid. I wonder if there is an easy way to check for this.

Thank you!
You would be surprised how quick you can boil the diff fluid. It’s a common thing at the ring. Only way you will tell is if there is any fluid coming from the diff or dropping the fluid and checking the amount remaining

Incredible build. I was also paralyzed in an motorcycle accident and have the typical push/pull hand controls on my E92. I would love to hear more about your setup. From what I can tell you moved the shifting to the buttons and pull back on either side of the custom orange piece for throttle, but how are you applying the brakes?

Thanks you
I use the typical push pull controls in my g31 540i. The shifting buttons are 2 push buttons for your thumbs on the front of the wheel. Yes the orange pull throttle is pulled towards you to accelerate. I’m also using a standard type push brake lever to operate the brakes. As a safety thing, I’d like to keep a mechanically operated brake just in case anything failed with the throttle
