Need advice, aib's or lux H8 v3?

Just installed mine and I'm impressed. First thing i noticed was how much brighter they were than my AIBs. When you first look at them, it seems like the inner ring is a lot brighter than the outer ones. But if you step back about 20 feet and look at them straight on, they are completely even.

Compared to my AiBs,

Lux were cheaper, brighter, seems better made, completely enclosed inside the headlight and worked on my first try, so they're also more reliable.

My AIBs were the biggest POS I've ever purchased. Went through 3 sets of them, my current 4th set just crapped out. I hate them so much I don't want them replaced under warranty and refuse to sell the single operative one out of common human decency.

These Lux v3 seems like a winner.

The LUX are just so bright, the camera over exposed them. they look really really good.

soo i still dont understand. i really dont care what is cheap. as long as its birght, clear, easy to install, and doesnt heat up too hot so its messes anything up. ( idont want it to melt anything... if thats possible) lol
so LUX's you have to have the wires out side?? and AiB's dont?
whats the best one to go with here? i really dont see any difference in all of the lights...

LUX AE v3 - Incredible!

Best I can do given the weather outside - NO Flicker when they go on either.

Best AE option ..Period!

I got aib for a while now but after looking at some of the pictures of the car with lux v3.....DAMN THAT LOOK SICK!!!

Do the Lux lights work on a 2010 E92 M3 now? 6 months ago they didn't.

Yes. they have been updated to work correctly on the 2010 M3's

Just had my LUX AE's installed and they look really really awesome!!

Just the way i wanted them to look. No flicker what so ever in any light setting for me when starting the car

The light distribution between the inner and outer ring is perfectly matched...

I will take pics as soon as possible.....

I was sitting on the fence and all the recent praise for the LUX V3's made me order my set just now. I would have liked to see a good video of them from different angles with the lights on and off. We'll see if I can youtube something after/during the install.

these look great - I have bought a tone of AE options weisslicht, PAA yellows, blah blah.

I am back to GP thunders, are these just as bright or brighter the GP?

What I liked about GPs is that they still were visible in sun for the most part

I have had GP thunders - LUX blows them out of the water. The LUX have made my car even more of head turner.

We are working on making another 500 sets. our thread will get updated when we are accepting pre-orders again. We are just waiting to find out an expected shipping date first.
