SMG or MT?

i personally have had all my cars MT starting from my g35 with greddy twin turbo and my e46 m3 as well as my recent e92 N55. this dude at the dealer with a 07 m3 was braggin that he will take any MT m3 with his dual clutch SMG transmission. who has one and has had a MT transmission and knows the difference rather then bragging about the fact that it cost you 80k for a 07 m3 lol.

Ummm, there was no 07 M3. E46 ended in 04, and E90 was 08.

It's a fact that the DCT is faster. I could care less though and bought a 6mt. To me, it's just a fancier auto...boring.

It's proven that the DCT is faster than a MT, in a straight line and around a track.

E46 ended with the 2006 model year, not 2004. Still, there was no 2007 model.

OP, I got a DCT because MT got very old when driving through traffic. I dont regret it at all... It's a lot of fun, especially on curvy roads

why does it matter to all over us regular people if dct is .000231 faster? its not like that makes any difference in your day to day driving. i think if you just get the dct because its "faster" makes it pointless. I could think of so many other reasons to get it besides that.

yet, i stuck to mt because it is more enjoyable for me
