"Old man's" car, especially where we live. I know the E63 AMG is an absolute BEAST (although it may not handle like a BMW), but MB's are just overrated and overpriced, imho.

I'm sure the MB E350 drives alright, but when my wife and I test drove the R350, we both agreed that it drove like sh!t (compared with the BMW X5 and Acura MDX) and the interior was just nothing special (other than the large cargo *******. If I closed my eyes in the car, I'd swear it was a Chrysler Pacifica...what a hunk of junk!!!!

This is what you get when you drive a MB.

I can almost assure you that most of those warranty dollars are goodwill and audio problems...not as many mechanical problems as the previous years.

I have a 07 E350 and I love it. Ok pick up, sporty looks, love the panoramic roof, and the sound system is great. I would opt for the amg package, sadly it wasnt available when I bought mine.

And no, not an old man's car. I'm 22

You know, I absolutely hated the E's styling, except I saw an E550 with nice wheels (apparently come with it with a sport pack or somethin'), and I actually started liking it's pointy design.

It's much better than the CLK's bland design...

Umm.... I own an E63. I also own 2 BMWs and had a third one. Unless you've actually driven an E63, and not just around the block, don't say that it doesn't handle like a BMW, because then you're talking out of your arse. As for overpriced and overrated? I think they're priced very closely to BMWs. In fact, BMWs usually come out a little bit pricier comporably equipped. I like both brands and appreciate the cars that they put out. Besides, I've never had a problem with a Mercedes like I had with the fuel pump in my 335.

Interesting...a 22-year old driving a $60k '07 MB E350 and a $50k '07 BMW 335i; hmmm...either you're some Internet entrepreneur genius who made it rich at 21 years old by selling your company to Google, Yahoo, or eBay or your parents are very wealthy and spoil you rotten. Whatever.

I'm glad you like your E63...the AMG's are sick! :rocks: However, my comments about the handling are based on tons of other ppl who say they just don't drive like the Bimmers, plus my bro's MB CLS500...it looks great from the outside, not so impressive on the inside, and it doesn't drive as well as my 335i that costs about $25k less.

btw -- With more than 13k mi., I'm one of many 335i drivers who hasn't had any HP fuel pump problems...knock on wood.

Sorry I didn't give you the feedback you're looking for, but have you actually test driven an E350? If not, then I suggest that would be a better place to start.

The "handling" or rather driving feel of non-AMG Mercedes compared to AMG Mercedes are worlds apart.

No and no, though I do wish my parents spoiled me....haha no I just fell into a great paying job....

anywho I've drive a 530i with the sports package and it DOESNT feel that any better than my E, I dont see what the hoopla is about, but the 3 vs the c handling i would say 3. The S vs the 7 I would say the S. I suppose its all who you ask, personally I like the look of mercedes on most of the models when comparing them to the bmws counterparts.

oh and mantis the es350 is a camry with leather, cant compare them with the E
