HELP My ///M wont let me out!!

OK so heres my issue..
When I lock/unlock my car using the key, I can see the lights blinking once or twice. But my Doors wont lock/unlock.. No problem wait Monday and take it in to service. Just unlock/lock manually. Now last night i got in my car my elbow locked the driver door and all other doors were locked as well (all manually) AND Im stuck!! I had to crawl out the window. Pressed the unlock button..NOTHING..Tried to unlock with Key..NOTHING...Tried manually unlocking all 4 doors by pulling handle twice.. NOTHING.....

Ahhhhh its 3am... I wanna go to sleep and this damn car wont let me out! WTF!

Anyone have this issue? Any Help?

I cant drive the car around because i cannt be crawling in and out of windows in public..

I guess the car got too attached to you
But on a serious note that is pretty weird. The only thing that I have had happen similar to that was in my 5er... The pin would get stuck and I would have to pull extra hard and a couple well times before it decided to come up. Hope you get it fixed.

Very very weird. It's kinda funny today. NOT at 3am!

Now all my Preset Buttons are Blank.
My radio shows song info. I went to unselect that box and it's not checked. So I can't turn that feature off.

I think it's POSSESSED

quick, take it to the body shop, paint it orange with a confederate flag on the door. Then no one would question you crawling out of the window.

Also reminds me of a family guy episode when Peter locked the keys outside of his car and was trying to wave people down to help him while he was inside.

S**t! You beat me to it. That was what I was going to say! Gotta remember to keep the window open though! Brian forgot to do that and ended up unconscious in that episode ("To Love and Die in Dixie", 9 minutes in).

Asp, sounds like a computer/module issue and/or a short contributing to that. Time to see the dealer buddy. I hope they track down and kill your little gremlin.

Course, you could have a nice little chat with the car over the weekend as well .

You can still use the key to manually lock and unlock from the outside. Just roll the window down and unlock it that way if you lock youself in again.

Excellent and helpful suggestion. Wish I'd thought of this.

At least BMW hasn't deleted the key/lock on the door yet (unlike the trunk)!

You guys don't have the key/lock in the trunk?? I have it, is it because of the euro version or something changed during model years??

I believe only the old 2008 cars have the keyhole near the trunk. BMW claims they removed it on 09 and later cars to avoid another possible break in point. But the real answer was to save more money by decontenting.

Thats kind of ironic. The window actuator locks the car and you have to roll down the window to unlock it. Now that is the definition of a "gremlin".

Maybe the window actuator feels neglected and is jealous of the door unlock actuator being used everyday. It just wants attention damn it! Have a heart!
