Question Question about E92 M3 Fog lights? Opinions?

Im sure you all are aware that the M3 will come with fog lights. its obvious that it will. if the E46 came with them then the E92 will also. what do you guys think they will look like? somewhat like the e92 3 series? or something else?

Are you serious? Why will the E92 come with fog lights just because the E46 had them? The E39 M5 came with fog lights, but the E60 M5 didn't. All the spy shots show that the E92 WILL NOT have fog lights.

Can't believe you posted this to be honest, unless it was a joke.

relax there skippy. im just saying what would it look like if it did come with them. spy shots really dont mean a thing. its a test mule, u dont need fogs for testing a car. you never know they might add them in for the final production. we'll just have to wait and see

The car is driving around virtually undisguised, and unless I am mistaken, clearly in the FEP testing stage. Installing fog lights as a last minute addition will NOT be happening. This will affect the whole air flow to the brakes for cooling. The front air dam is a critical part of the car in terms of air flow. The designs for the E92 M3 have long been finalised. At this stage the manufacturing requirements will be finalised. The third party suppliers will be informed of the spec. The internal wiring to operate the fog lights will have to be changed. The designs for the dashboard will have to be changed. I could go on.

Do you honestly think BMW will decide to stick on a couple of fog lights just before launch?

Don't mean to have a go mate, but this post is very childish.

Now if you HAD said "the new M3 is clearly not coming with fog lights, would it look better with them", then this wouldn't be an issue.

The functionality of current foglights is really comporomised by design factors. Nowhere close to the performance of the old rectangular ones in most cases. I'm not sure the E92 will have them. In this pic it looks like the covered areas in the bumper could conceal foglights:

Personally, I could care less if the M3 had foglights. There are so many other important factors that BMW has to nail first, before foglights becomes a concern; if it ever becomes a concern. Matter of fact, why does this silly post even exist. More importantly, why am I responding to such a silly post. Bye, Bye now.
