Hm, not bad actually, I'd rock something like that...

1) It's an Evo - so the driver prolly drives it fast, and needs the downforce
2) It's functional - following along the roofline, the best you can get
3) For normal traffic, having a higher wing is beneficial, since you can see between the "legs" and nothing is blocking your rear view

The only thing that may be nasty is the side overhang, if the driver/other drivers don't take it into account, a nasty crash could happen.

The only way he would ever need a wing that big is if his car was heavily modded and tracked often. Judging by the pic (stock skinny tire size and stock ride height), I bet neither is true. Even then, if the car was driven on the street, I would never put a wing like that on it.

That car would probably be faster around a track without that park bench on the trunk.

This. Especially if he doesn't have an equally aggressive splitter for front aero. (not just a tacky one for looks).

Cool pic. As for the wing.. the car hobby has never been about need but about excess. I mean.. no street car needs a wing or a super charger.. or 500+HP for that matter. Well, I think they do, but that's just me. Whether he will ever really use/need it or not, he has struck the excess theme quite well.

Damn... You took the words right out of my mouth. An Evo is a performance machine... Perfectly acceptable to rock that.
