Need Help picking exhaust

So here is the deal... I have a 07 M3 stock. I bought the borla complete exhaust from local dealer. After it was installed I don't like it, it has way tooo much base.

I am not sure being new to the forum and BMW, what is the best exhaust?

I been looking at dinan, hamann and borla brands..

Hmmm, I don't think there are any after market exhausts out theter that will fit an 07' M3.

Check out Meisterschaft, Eisenmann Sport, Akropovic, Gintani...

Sounds like you don't want too much "droning" in the cabin.

Hm...'07 M3s weren't available in the USA. Did you get have it shipped here?

That's Dinan mid pipe + rear exhaust (+exhaust/engine software) setup.
I believe one guys is selling full combo (- software) in Norcal as we speak.

There is already a line up for the muffler...

Just got a mid-pipe from another seller here myself as well (already have Dinan exhaust).

Maybe he got one of those rare 2007.5 models.

To the OP...buy the full Dinan setup.

The sound that combo makes is simply amazing.

We don't get many of the "Special Edition European Model 2007.5 M3's" around here. Most of us got stuck with the lesser performing 2008 models. Can you show us a picture of this rare beast? I hear those things came with factory supplied ESS superchargers!!

I'm surprised the OP doesn't like the Borla. The only true "drone" occurs during the first 10 days post-installation while the setup is getting settled in. There is no drone after that. There IS a deeper bass sound, but that isn't drone - it's simply the sound of the exhaust. I love mine - it sounds great, but it's pretty quiet at normal street speeds. The bass only kicks-in between 1200-2000 rpm, and you don't spend a lot of time there anyway. The Dinan setup will cost thousands more, and you don't get, IMHO, anything better for it.
