steering column

anybody know how to extend the column past the OEM Maximum? im rather tall so the long legs make it fun trying to get the wheel in the right spot. any advice is greatly appreciated.

Yes, a lot of times in the past, from primitive with cutting and welding an extension to using pre manufactured adapter extenders

^That seems ghetto. I am tall too but the steering column adjustability doesn't bother me enough that I would hack up my steering column and weld it back together just to get an extra 3" of reach.

He's saying there are a couple ways to do it. The second pic looks like a bolt in extension adapter.

My car is a 6mt and I find that if I fully extend wheel and slide seat back the gear shifter is then too far away.

Doesn't bother you but apparently is does bother some drivers hence the OP starting this tread.
It has been done to even expensive professional race cars to accommodate different drivers.
If you don't have anything helpful to write for the OP then simply don't write anything.
