How to tell if I have upgraded speakers?
I bought my car with 10,000 miles and to it came relatively loaded. The only thing I can't figure out is if I have the upgraded sound system option. Is there any way to discover this? My system is much louder than my E46 with the Harman Kardon speakers, however I am having a difficult time finding the answer to this. Thanks for any help.

No silver grills for me. It's def not the EPS. I do however have the amp in the trunk, subwoofers under the seats and tweeters up higher on driver and passenger doors. I have never seen the full graphic equalizer on my idrive settings.

That is HiFi. The amp is black pre-2010 and sometime after 2010 the HiFi amp became bright and very short.
