Thoughts on this deal I received from dealer

Hi everyone,

I was quoted:

2011 M3 Coupe
M.S.R.P. $69,825.00
Not ED

Your Internet Sale Price: $66,488.00 + tax

The options are below:

Mineral White / Interlagos Blue
Fox Red / Black Interior
Carbon Fiber Trim
Competition Package
Convenience Package
Premium Package 2

How good/bad is this deal? Taxes should be around 6,400 I'd assume so that brings the car up to ~73,000 out the door. Seems a bit high? No negotiate involved what so ever.

Also, I've noticed a lot of people are buying at 500+ at invoice. What is invoice for this car?

Invoice is $65,257 (divide MSRP by 1.07 to get invoice); so you are about $1230 over invoice. Not horrible but you can do better.

Much appreciated. This put things into perspective now. I'll have to pass up on this offer I suppose.

phyek,
I'm in the Bay Area as well and also looking at getting an e92 with almost the same setup as you. What dealership gave you that deal? Have you tried any others?

Weatherford. I've received 500 over invoice at BMW of SF and 995 over at Fremont and East Bay. No negotiation involved. Let's keep in touch, perhaps a group buy can be arranged!

I love Weatherford's service dept (only scheduled maintenance done) and despise their sales dept. One of the CA's tried to convince me he can't tell me the final price until the car is at the dealership and I have committed to the sale. He might as well have called me stupid to my face.

If you order from BMW SF, make sure to tell them you'll rip their heads off if they dare putting that fugly, self-advertising "BMW of San Francisco" sticker on your trunk.

I got $500 over invoice from BMW Concord as well. There are so many dealerships in this area that you can pretty much just say you want $500 over and if they say no, you just move on.

What is invoice on these cars? I seem to be getting different invoice rates from different dealers...

Thanks for suggestions. I'll have to reach out to Concord as well!

I got the same over at SF BMW and Weatherford. Concord, Sonnen and Fremont never got back to me with matching or beating those prices. Im ready to place my order and it looks like 400 over invoice is the best I can find.
