Yes, they are. He had them at $6500 or MORE intially I believe and worked his way down. It's an asking price, detective. I truly believe that these wheels are comparable to a rolex watch I'm offering a used set at much less than new so I think its a win-win for everyone. Lets face it, there's not many of these sets floating around used and lets not mention the 9 hour round trip I made in near blizzard conditions to get these wheels, lol.

Are you interested in the wheels?

EDIT:

He had it at this fairly early:

"REDUCED....$6500 Shipped/Insured...Paypal gift or add 3%.

OR

$6350 LOCAL SALE, Metro NY area....picked up."

I was simply trying to save everyone some trouble of haggling or low ballers wasting their time. I myself think it's pretty shady to buy an item on the forums for a much lower price and barely two months later list it again for a higher price. I think you would be better off listing a similar asking price to the one he listed at the end of his thread before finally selling it to save yourself the trouble and to prevent people from asking the same thing I asked myself, "Wait.. isn't this what Chris sold about two months ago for $6k or less? I wonder why this guy is selling it so soon and asking for even more money."
Can't he sell the wheels for whatever he wants to sell them for?

You have access to his private messages and cell phone? Last time I checked we live in America. If you aren't interested in these wheels please go buy new ones for 2195 each plus the cost of tires.

+1 it's the beauty of capitalism and economics.

Buying and flipping parts? I mean no one would ever do it with used cars, stocks, real estate... that would be crazy.
