looks great doba... thanks for sharing. too bad even a Japanese $2k trunk lid has material defects... but i am sure it will turn out great! keep us posted!

The imperfections are inevitable with FRP. That's why bigger companies and OEM now uses PUR or PP instead.

I think they are made out of PP, which is commonly used as a material for hard shell suit cases. The side skirts are definitely made of PP.
