Teaser: Who's Faster - BMW M3 or S1000RR Superbike?

BMW Motorrad has posted a teaser clip of an upcoming showdown feature pitting Nico Bastian in the BMW M3 and Rico Penzkofer on the BMW S 1000 RR Superbike, on a track to see which/who is faster.

The feature video and results will be posted on May 2nd and we can't wait to see which of BMWs current best-of-crop track carvers will come out on top.

Looks like it might be damp/wet which could give the car a chance. Always like watching BMW's get flogged

Didn't the RR easily take out a F458 on some magazine a while ago? A 600cc bike would be more comparable, but still not really...

Car vs Bike races were performed a 10000000 times before.. the Bike will have the edge on straight lines but cornering will give the car a huge advantage..

Check the Nürburgring times and you will most fast bikes are in the mid 7 minutes range.
