Yes... Everyone is excited. It will be nice to have a bit of an economic boom. Alberta and Newfoundland has had the oil and gas, we get ship building. Upwards of 15,000 new jobs for 30 years in a city of 400,000 is a nice little bump. Someone said it is 3% of GDP or something.

I wish the money paid to Mechanics was good enough for me to be able to relocate there but it will be no where close to what I make here in AB. I spoke to a friend of mine at the Irving Shipyard and he told me his hourly rate...... Basically he makes roughly 1/3 of the hourly wage they pay out here in AB and they have no kind of incentive or retention packages in place. The Irvings are famous for paying shit wages to their trades while they get richer and richer.

I apologize for the rant but I am just envious since you can live in Halifax and I can't (I can't maintain the same quality of life in Halifax anyway).

Enough of my whining..... Someone buy this car, it is a great deal on a meticulously maintained almost new M3!!!!

Thanks Simma... I think so too. I actually think it is a little low based on comparables but that is OK because I would prefer to sell it than trade it in. No doubt, if I trade it in, it will likely end up on a showroom floor somewhere in Ontario and the dealer will end up selling it for more than this asking price!!

Just need to find the right person in the market for one

OK... so here is the deal. My car is getting traded in December. I am offering the car at a ROCK bottom price of $70,000 firm

. I can arrange shipping but not on my dime but it wouldn't crazy expensive. You are essentially getting the car for a fraction over wholesale.

This is an absolute STEAL for a 2011 fully loaded, competition package M3 with 10,100 km (as of today).

You will not find a better deal anywhere in Canada. Price does not change from here and if no one takes it then someone will get it from a dealer at a MUCH higher price in the spring. Tell your friends, neighbors, family members. The car is essentially new and discounted $20,000 to retail.

If someone doesn't buy the car at this price it is a real shame as you won't find a better deal... period.

The price is based on my buyout in December... I'm not upside down either way. My logic is I will pass on the savings to someone rather than trade it and the dealer mark it up $8,000 +/-. I guarantee this shows up on a lot in Ontario at $78-$80 in the spring. If I had more time or if it were spring and the market were better, I would price it around $78k and wait but I don't feel like sitting on the car if I can trade it (considering HST savings too) if my loan payout is covered. I'm just trying to help my M3 brothers out!

I'm leaning towards a C63 AMG coupe but they also have a nice CTS-V coupe, a Z06, a GTR and other options. The C63 is the closest car to the M3 that is as practical as a DD and the 2012 is very, very nice... hence why I say I'm leaning in the direction.
