Painter's tape at the top of the reflector then attached to the bumper. Best suggestion by far. Last thing you want is that rascal falling into the bumper black hole.

Were you ever able to get the reflectors to fit perfectly and not pertrude? I want to install these on my new M but don't want it to not fit properly....

Should be totally flush. There was a huge row about some Bimmian painted reflectors a while back, their fitment was apparently very poor. I know IND offers the best option by having painted reflectors that are painted over OEM. If you got them from Bimmian (or through one of Bimmian's distributors), chances are you'll have some fitment issues.

You can try pushing down on that corner a little, maybe the tab didn't go in all the way. Otherwise, it's probably poor fitment.

Guys,

A word of caution, I just did this today. Mine were really stuck in there. One of them came off clean, but the other one scratched the hell out of my paint right above the reflector. I was using nothing but my fingers, but the top edge of the reflector must have rubbed and grinded off the paint. It's now all white directly above the reflector (on my jerez black car). I'm hoping some touch up will help, but am pretty bummed out.

It also was only 27 degrees, so not sure if that made the paint on the body "brittle" in some way...

I'm sure most will agree- go with IND. Quality and color match can't be beat.

Just did the install yesterday as well. Surprised how easy it was, especially since all the DIY I attempt are a lot harder than it seems.

Mine also protrudes out a teeny little bit on the bottom front but unnoticeable from a few steps back. I think it's normal. Also being that I have MW, the reflectors don't blend in too well but still much better than the amber. Got mine from eAs which sells iND I believe.

They're from 2010. I'm sure the owner of the pictures either deleted them or they moved their account etc. etc.

What you'll need: Painter's tape.

What to do:

1) Tape up the top of the OEM reflectors and the bumper above the reflectors. Use a decently long piece of tape and leave some slack, but make sure it's stuck on reasonably well. This is so the reflectors don't fall into the car's bumper, I'm speaking from personal experience.

2) Using your thumbs, Push the bumper inwards along the bottom of the reflectors on the left and right side. The reflector tabs should pop right out.

Let's say the lines are the bottom edge of your reflector. your thumbs should be positioned below the reflector, where the 0's are, and pushing inwards.
--0--0--

3) Push up and out.

4) Take painted reflector, position losely where it should go. Painters tape it up as before, push up and back in. Remove painters tape. Done.

If you want to wait until I'm off of work today, I'll post up some photo DIY's for you. It's super easy, I've done it a million times.
New E92 owner and just bought my reflectors today. Any way you could please repost the pictures up?

Thanks!
