Audio preset question

If I'm in the CD mode for example, when I press the RADIO button next to the IDrive controller it brings me all the time to the list of available FM stations not in the Preset list (I have a 09 M3 E93). Is there a way to have it go back to the preset list instead of the "all the stations" list ?

I would like to know the answer to this also. It is annoying.

Go to presets and then press and hold any of the shortcut buttons under the radio unit in the dash and this button will take you back to presets directly.

That's one way of doing it, thanks, still doesn't make sense that BMW chose to do this.

Seems BMW sometimes makes perfect sense and other times none at all.
