Amuse is offering a new tip design for 2009. The new tip will involve a thicker tip wall with a purple burn around the edge.

Boot lid looks like it creates alot of drag. Yes i'm sure it creates down force but the drag it creates makes the down force pointless.

Overall that is correct. When using aero pieces to increase down force, whether it is a diffuser, wing etc., you are also increasing drag anyways. That is why the Pagani Zonda is slower in the straights than some other cars.
