Tech Junkie

Im a tech junkie and I really enjoy the iDrive and other gadgets in my M3.

Im sure its just a setting that needs to be changed,or maybe its my iphone thats too old. Getting 4s in Dec, hopefully it will solve the problem, but any ideas would be appreciated.

No iPhone supports email/SMS transfer via Bluetooth yet. This is old news...

Thanks, did not know that.

I took the internet option as well. When trying to access internet it says not available in your country. Do you know if its just something that the dealership must enable?

BMW Internet can be accessed by Bluetooth tethering your iPhone. At least that's how I know that BMW Internet works. I do not know the specifics in your country.

Search for more details.

i really miss this feature...i just moved to an iphone 4s from a BB. Some say this feature is distracting, when it fact it's the exact oppostite. You get an icon on the info bar when a message comes in, and the message/email is read aloud over the BT system. Really hope this can be available with an iOS update eventually....

til then, I'll continue to use Siri to hear my messages and emails while in the car
