+1 - This fact alone should allow you to get your money back.

Weren't they giving the buyers the option of getting it in oval or hexagon?

According to Nick at JLevi, they will have the X-pipes today and will be shipping out to customers that pre-ordered it.

So did this come to fruition?

Hi Guys,

There is one set in stock that is the non-high flow cat option but there is a preorder that will get that one in stock. The rest are due for completion at the end of this week or early the next without the high flow cat option.

No, I ordered through **********s and was straight lied to about what time line this product was going to be completed and what the build status (R&D) was on this exhaust. I ordered mine on 6 May and was told it would be at my house by 25 May. OBVIOUSLY this hasn't happened. I've contacted Visa and they said I have the right to make a claim for a refund because it has been over 30 days since the agreed apon delivery date. Just not sure I want to go this route, but I may file today If I can't get anywhere with ModB.

I just spoke with Riss Racing on the phone a few minutes ago and he told me that all of the exhausts were shipping out today via UPS. Hopefully they are not full of shit this time!

I got an email from Adam at Riss Racing today after asking that they cancel my order. He indicated they were shipping my exhaust as of 2pm California time, so I'm giving them a final chance.

I hope they make it happen or I'm done with Riss.

I received my tracking info yesterday evening, it is actually "in the mail". I can only hope for a quality product, they defiantly took their time to build this thing. I do plan to post pictures and a sound clip so future buyers will have a better idea what they'll be getting.

So it's really shipping? This the axle-back or the full?

They never pick up their damn phones.

Yes, I can confirm UPS has it in transit. I'm only aware of it being offered as an axle-back system. I believe you can order their x-pipe and exhaust as a complete system though. Their customer service needs help, plus their website has old pictures and bad links. It is the little things that bring back customers, they may not make it if things don't improve.

They will be just fine. They have a rather large following from the 335i/135i crowd. They don't even really need the M3 guys, we are just icing on the cake.

Sad if they blow off the M3 customers as if we aren't really customers. Their customer service does need to improve, as does their response time on returning phone calls/emails and shipping out products/scheduling appointments.

Does anyone actually have 'transit' information? Or just 'Billing Information Received' ??

There is a big difference...

My status is still at 'Billing Info Received' with no actually 'transit data'.

Means they've 'created' package labels... but has not been given to UPS yet!

I got my exhaust in today and put it on my car. I think it is safe to say that I'm NOT happy with it or RR. First off, it showed up slightly damaged do to the cheap a$$ box they used to ship it. Could they not spring for a good solid shipping box? At least you don't see the damage when it's on the car. Secondly, It didn't fit right. The driver side brackett was off by a 1/2 inch and needed be shim put in between the brackett and rubber bushing to align it correctly. Third, there are NO ajustable tips, so on my E90 it looks like the tips stick out way too far, kind of like a Hot Wheels car. The only nice thing I can say is it sounds pretty good. The youtube clip on page 1 of this thread is very accurate.

If you're thinking about this exhaust, I'd say save your money and go to a local fab shop and give them your business or buy something else. Waiting 8 weeks to get what I got is a joke! I will never buy anything from RR again!

I'm going to most likely try and sell this system. If you're interested, PM me. I'd prefer you pick it up locally.

I thought the whole point of the initial RR exhaust was it was for the E90. The website shows a E90 with the exhaust on it and it is listed first. This is a shame.

Sorry to hear this. Nothing is worse than anticipating a new item and having it arrive not working, or damaged (in this case both). Sell that thing and order up a Gintani or AA. Good luck

Thanks. I'm thinking about going back to the stock muffler (leaving the tips polished, but painting the rest of it black) with the AA connecting and x-pipes.

Dam, sorry to hear about that! Have u thought about contacting RR to ask if they will take it back considering fitment's ass & tips stick out way too much even though they originally claim it'll fit an e90? A few years ago, I was in a similar situation w/another vendor/manufacturer. Final product didn't look anywhere near the pics on their website so asked them politely to return it for 100% refund (including shipping it back to them!!!) & they obliged no questions since it was their fault. Good luck whatever u do!

+1 Pretty sure this is what I am going to end up doing too. The added benefit is the increased power above just replacing the axle-back exhaust.
